Meditate

Thanks for picking up one of my flyers, I really hope that you can join me soon!

Please note that as part of my schedule changes for 2023, there are likely to be changes to the frequency of my meditation sessions; if you’ve picked up a flyer that still advertises them as twice a week, please see my new schedule, here.

These changes don’t affect the validity of your free first session, or of any class passes available or already purchased.

Meditation is a wonderful tool that can help us to:

  • Focus on the present
  • Increase our self-awareness
  • Build skills to manage stress
  • Gain new perspectives on stressful situations
  • Reduce negative emotions
  • Increase patience & tolerance
  • Lower resting heart rate & blood pressure
  • Improve sleep quality
  • Increase imagination and creativity

Meditation may also help to manage symptoms of chronic conditions – although I would always recommend talking to your GP or other appropriate healthcare provider in the first instance about the pros & cons for your personal circumstances. Meditation isn’t a replacement for traditional medical treatment, but it can be a useful addition.

How this works: these sessions are held online so all you need is something capable of running Zoom, and a WiFi or cellular network. I recommend wearing something you’ll be comfortable in (and that includes pyjamas!); before I guide you through our meditation, we’ll settle into our bodies & spaces with some simple breath work and preparatory exercises, but don’t worry – you won’t break a sweat (unless there’s a heatwave!), and you may even want a blanket or other covering for during or after the meditation.

If you’d like to see an example of a session, this link will take you to a short video on my public Facebook page taken from moments throughout one session. You don’t need a Facebook account to view the video, but you may need to turn the sound on, on the video as well as your device.

I use Momence to handle my bookings & payments, because one of the great things about their service is you don’t need a Momence account to sign up for my classes, whether they’re online or in person

To book, simply choose the meditation session that works best for you from the calendar below, then click or tap ‘book now’ and follow the prompts.
