I’m Sam.
I offer gentle, grounded ways to rest, breathe, and come back to yourself – especially when life feels loud, fast, or too much.
I didn’t come to yoga because I was flexible or calm; I came because I was tired of holding everything together.
For a long time, I lived inside pressure: work; expectations; and the quiet belief that I should be coping better than I was. When I returned to yoga in 2014, it wasn’t about shapes or discipline – it was the first time my nervous system felt genuinely met.
What I found wasn’t a performance practice, it was a way of being with myself that was kinder, steadier, and more honest.
That’s the work I now share.
How I work
My spaces are slow, respectful, and human.
You won’t be pushed to try harder, breathe deeper, or get it “right”; and you won’t be asked to override what you’re feeling in the name of “improvement”.
Instead, I work with the nervous system – gently, patiently – so that safety can return and the body can soften in its own time.
People come to me when they’re:
- worn out
- emotionally overwhelmed
- living in their heads
- carrying tension they can’t quite put into words
- longing for somewhere that doesn’t ask them to perform
We go slowly; we listen; we let the body lead.
What I offer
I teach yoga nidrā, breath, mindful movement, and embodied awareness – not as techniques to master, but as ways to be with yourself more kindly.
This might look like:
- lying down and being guided into deep rest
- learning how to notice your breath without controlling it
- moving in ways that feel supportive rather than demanding
- or simply having space where nothing is required of you
My work is not about fixing you; it’s about creating the conditions where your system can remember how to settle.
Training & experience
I trained as a yoga teacher in 2019 with Frog Lotus Yoga International at Suryalila Retreat Centre in Spain.
Since then, I’ve continued to study widely, completing over 450 hours of yoga-related continuing professional development, alongside further training in mindfulness, meditation, nutrition, and mental health.
I don’t believe in collecting certificates for their own sake; but I do believe in staying curious, trauma-aware, and responsive – so that the people who come to me are met with care, not dogma.
If you’d like to see a list of my formal training, it’s below, but what matters most to me is how you feel in my spaces: safe, respected, and not rushed.
A small, honest note
I balance this work alongside a full-time office job. That’s not something I hide – it keeps me grounded in the reality most of my clients live in because I know what it’s like to be tired, busy, and still trying to make space for yourself.
You don’t have to have a perfectly curated life to be here.
If you’re wondering whether you belong
You don’t need to be flexible; you don’t need to meditate well; you don’t need to be calm, healed, or ready; you just need to be willing to stop for a moment.
If that feels like you, you’re very welcome here.
Training & Professional Development

In the UK, there’s no official requirement for yoga teachers to complete qualifications or continue their professional development; but I believe in lifelong learning – not just to deepen my own practice, but to keep showing up as a safe, informed, and empowering teacher for others.
So far, I’ve completed over 450 hours of yoga-related CPD, plus an additional 250+ hours in complementary subjects like nutrition, mindfulness, and mental health.
I don’t pretend to know it all, but I’m always learning, listening, and refining what I offer.
